Our desire is that adoptive families with a current homestudy that are matched with a child would be blessed financially to offset the financial burden of the adoption costs. We are thankful for the families investing their lives to love the children and wish we could give a grant to all who contact us. However, grant availability is based on funds available. Hope for Love Ministries has chosen to partner with America World Adoption Families to best ensure the success of uniting families through an established social care agency.
At Hope for Love, we believe that every child deserves a family to love them. A large part of our ministry is advocating for the children who are waiting to be adopted in foster care, domestically and overseas in orphanages. No matter what the childs' needs, we believe that children grow best in families. We also know that there are many families who want to adopt, we want to help them connect with the agencies and resources they need so that families may be united.
Children in fostercare often move frequently. Lifebooks are simply a scrapbook for foster parents to put together for the children to have positive memories of their life. Hope for Love is looking for groups that would put together pre-made scrapbooks that can be handed out to our busy foster families to insert photos into.
Often times children come into foster care with no belongings. Sometimes children will enter a foster home with little notice giving foster families a rush to go out and get basic needs immediately in addition to the adjustments of having new children enter their home. Comfort Bags are filled with basic hygiene items, a stuffed animal, books, crayons, notebooks.
Families in the foster/adoptive community all have experienced different needs for different children. Sometimes families facing some of the special needs in these situations find themselves feeling alone. Hope for Love seeks to empower foster and adoptive families by connecting them with the resources and mentorships they need. Whether recommending a counselor, educational services, a local special needs doctor or a social services agency, our seasoned foster and adoptive families are here to help.
